Check open dates

When we can get there

Cambridge is our home base, so it has the widest choice of days. Open dates start tomorrow, with appointment slots at 9 AM, 1 PM and 4 PM. The booking form only shows times that are actually open.

What it costs

  • 1 fixture$199each
  • 2 fixtures$179each
  • 3 fixtures$164each
  • 4 fixtures$149each

Those are per-fixture prices plus HST for bookings made by January 31, 2027. The regular rate after that is $225 for one fixture. The price is the same for a tub or a walk-in shower. The $50 late-cancel fee only applies inside 24 hours of your appointment.

What's included

We cut out every trace of the old caulk and its residue, treat and dry the joint, and lay a new bead of mould-resistant 100% silicone in white, clear, almond or grey. That covers the tub-to-wall and tub-to-floor joints, corners and fixtures, and we clean up after. The new caulk needs 24 hours before it gets wet, and it carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee against peeling, lifting or separating under normal use. Regrouting and tile repair aren't part of the job.

Galt, Preston and Hespeler

Cambridge was formed in 1973 from Galt, Preston and Hespeler, and the housing still reflects that. We cover all three, along with Blair and the newer east and south-end subdivisions. Enter your postal code at booking and the form confirms it right away. Older homes in Galt can have tub surrounds fitted into walls that have shifted over the decades, while subdivisions from the 1990s and 2000s are now reaching the age where their original builder's caulk has run its course.

Postal codes covered: N1R, N1S, N1T, N3C, N3E and N3H.

Hard water and Cambridge bathrooms

Cambridge runs on hard groundwater. Local water-treatment companies publish figures around 20 to 32 grains per US gallon, compared with a Canadian average near 10.5. Scale doesn't dissolve silicone, but it builds up on the bead and holds soap film, which gives mould something to live on. A gentle wipe-down more often does less damage to a seal than a hard scrub twice a year.

Cambridge questions

Do you cover all of Cambridge?

Yes, within postal codes starting N1R, N1S, N1T, N3C, N3E and N3H. That takes in Galt, Preston, Hespeler and Blair. Rural addresses outside those codes, including Ayr and North Dumfries, aren't covered yet.

How soon can you come to Cambridge?

Bookings open from tomorrow on, and Cambridge has the most available days because it's our home base. We take two appointments a day at most, so the next open slot depends on the week.

Can you do both bathrooms in one visit?

Yes. You can book up to four fixtures at once, and each fixture gets cheaper as you add more. One or two fixtures fit in one visit of about two hours. Three or four take two slots on the same day.
