What it costs

  • 1 fixture$199each

  • 3 fixtures$164each
  • 4 fixtures$149each

Those are per-fixture prices plus HST for bookings made by January 31, 2027. The regular rate after that is $225 for one fixture. The price is the same for a tub or a walk-in shower. The $50 late-cancel fee only applies inside 24 hours of your appointment.

What's included

We cut out every trace of the old caulk and its residue, treat and dry the joint, and lay a new bead of mould-resistant 100% silicone in white, clear, almond or grey. That covers the tub-to-wall and tub-to-floor joints, corners and fixtures, and we clean up after. The new caulk needs 24 hours before it gets wet, and it carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee against peeling, lifting or separating under normal use. Regrouting and tile repair aren't part of the job.

From Doon to Bridgeport

We cover Kitchener from Doon, Pioneer Park and Huron Park in the south, through Forest Heights, Victoria Hills and Stanley Park, to Bridgeport and Grand River in the north and east. Central Frederick and the older streets around downtown have century homes whose bathrooms have been redone more than once, and old layers of caulk are a common find in houses like that. Complete removal matters most on those jobs. Newer builds in Doon South and Huron tend to have fibreglass or acrylic tub units, where careful cutting protects the finish.

Postal codes covered: N2A, N2B, N2C, N2E, N2G, N2H, N2K, N2M, N2N, N2P and N2R.

Hard water in Kitchener bathrooms

Kitchener's tap water comes largely from groundwater and is hard by Canadian standards. Local water-treatment companies publish figures from about 17 to 36 grains per US gallon, against a national average near 10.5. On a shower bead that shows up as white scale and rough, soap-holding film. Softened water reduces it, and so does wiping the joint down after showers.

Kitchener questions

Which parts of Kitchener do you serve?

Postal codes starting N2A, N2B, N2C, N2E, N2G, N2H, N2K, N2M, N2N, N2P and N2R. Rural addresses with an N0B postal code, including Breslau, aren't covered yet.

Is the price higher for an older Kitchener home?

No. The flat rate is the same for a standard tub or a walk-in shower, in any age of house. If the wall behind turns out to be soft or rotted, we stop, show you, and you aren't charged.

Do you work with Kitchener landlords?

Yes. Someone needs to let us in and show us the bathroom, so that can be a tenant or property manager, and the card on file is charged after the job. Book a separate appointment for each address.
